1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sasquatch Plumbing website (www.sasquatchplumbingseattle.com), requesting a quote, or hiring Sasquatch Plumbing for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sasquatch Plumbing regarding the subject matter and supersede all prior agreements.

2. Service Scope & Availability

Sasquatch Plumbing provides residential and commercial plumbing services in the Seattle, Washington area, with primary service areas including West Seattle and surrounding neighborhoods. We reserve the right to refuse service, decline projects, or limit service areas at our sole discretion. Our services are available 24/7 for emergency repairs; standard service appointments are scheduled during business hours when availability permits.

3. Service Appointments & Scheduling

We strive to arrive within the two-hour service window provided at the time of booking. Plumbing work can be unpredictable—additional issues may be discovered during diagnosis that affect timing or scope. If we are running late, we will make every effort to notify you by phone. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment may be subject to a $75 cancellation fee. No-shows without 24-hour notice will be charged at our standard service call rate.

4. Estimates, Quotes & Pricing

Phone Estimates: Estimates provided over the phone are non-binding and are provided without physical inspection. Actual costs may differ based on the real conditions discovered on-site.

In-Home Estimates: Written estimates provided after a physical inspection are valid for 30 days. We will not begin work without your written approval of the final estimate and scope. If additional issues are discovered during work, we will notify you and provide an updated estimate before proceeding.

Pricing: All prices are in US dollars. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, check, major credit cards, and electronic transfers. Hourly labor rates and material markups are provided on our price sheets available upon request.

5. Payment Terms & Conditions

Due Upon Completion: Payment is due in full when services are completed. For jobs exceeding $5,000, we require 50% deposit upon scheduling to reserve equipment and crew availability.

Late Payments: Invoices not paid within 30 days of service completion will accrue interest at 1.5% per month. Collection costs and attorney fees for overdue accounts may be added to your balance.

Financing: We offer interest-free financing for qualified customers through our lending partners. All financing is subject to credit approval.

6. Warranty & Liability

Workmanship Warranty: We stand behind our work. All repairs and installations come with a standard 1-year workmanship warranty. If a repair fails due to our workmanship within one year, we will repair or replace it at no cost. Parts are subject to manufacturer warranties, which vary by product.

Warranty Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:

• Clogs caused by misuse (flushing wipes, paper towels, grease, etc.)
• Damage to pre-existing pipes or conditions not replaced by us
• Normal wear and tear on fixtures and appliances
• Issues resulting from lack of maintenance or homeowner modifications
• Damage caused by weather, natural disasters, or acts of God
• Failures due to inadequate water pressure or supply issues

Limitation of Liability: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SASQUATCH PLUMBING'S LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING PROPERTY DAMAGE, WATER DAMAGE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR OTHER LOSSES) SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SERVICE THAT CAUSED THE DAMAGE. SASQUATCH PLUMBING IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Your Responsibility: You are responsible for providing safe access to your home, ensuring utilities are safely shut off where necessary, and removing personal items from work areas. We are not responsible for damage to items left in work zones or for pre-existing conditions aggravated by our work.

7. Property Access & Safety

By requesting our services, you grant Sasquatch Plumbing and its employees reasonable access to your property to diagnose and repair plumbing issues. You agree to ensure the work area is safe, accessible, and free of hazards. You are responsible for securing or removing pets and ensuring children are supervised. We reserve the right to refuse work in unsafe conditions or to leave a job if conditions become unsafe.

8. Permits & Code Compliance

Major plumbing work (repiping, sewer line repair, water main replacement) requires City of Seattle permits and inspections. Sasquatch Plumbing will obtain permits, schedule inspections, and ensure all work complies with current Seattle building codes. Permit costs are included in our estimates. You acknowledge that some work cannot legally be performed without permits and that unpermitted work may violate code and create liability.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our Website—including text, images, logos, videos, and designs—is the property of Sasquatch Plumbing or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, or use any content without our prior written permission. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is prohibited.

10. Website Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code through our Website
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
• Collect or harvest personal data without consent

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

14. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Before pursuing litigation, we encourage disputes to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration before a single arbitrator in King County, Washington, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) rules. Arbitration costs will be split equally unless the arbitrator determines otherwise based on the merits.

Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for violations of intellectual property rights, breach of confidentiality, or other equitable matters.

15. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our Website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if that is not possible, severed. The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
